about

I am a stay at home mom to the most amazing little man! I love all things crafty, cute, diy, and vintage. I spend my days playing and taking care of my almost 2 year old and crafting during nap times and late into the night. I have been married to my wonderful Husband since February 2004 and am still madly in love with him.

I started this blog over 3 years ago over on blogger as an outlet to share my creative thoughts, my life, and maybe if I’m lucky inspire others to be creative. My philosophy is to make whatever I can beautiful be it something I sew or a party I decorate. I also believe that every girl (and guy if they please) should have a lesson in sewing as it is a wonderful life skill and so empowering. Welcome to my space. I hope we can be friends and share our creative outlets. Feel free to contact me via email woollypetals@gmail.com if you have any questions or would just like to chat.  :)

  • I think that I saw that you participated in The Pec Thing in Pecatonica, Illinois. If I read it correctly and you did, when did you go? I am signed up for this coming May (2013). I sell antiques, vintage collectibles, china, furniture and clothing. I will not be bringing clothing since I landed in the “cattle” building. (A friend told me it is dusty.) Last year, they had 12000 people.
Will you be doing it this year?
What do you find works best? Cash only?
I’ve never done a flea market or anything.
    Looking for advice.
I’ve only sold on ebay since 2005. I started a booth within an antique store in Rockton, Il (TIllymint’s).
Hope you don’t mind my asking for pointers.
    Thanks.

  • Hi Kristin,
I so adore your camper quilt, I ran across it on Google and fell in love! Every Tuesday I feature other artists works that inspire me, and you have! Just my way of spreading the love and bringing accomplished artists some recognition they so deserve, along with some extra web traffic as well! Enjoy your day… and remember To Make Everyday Your Masterpiece!

will be posting this afternoon at http//:uniquejunktique.com
