It’s Friday! Are you excited? I am! Being the weekend means I have completed my 3 hour Glucose test (awful), that we have made it a work week through potty training (going okay), and that we are a work week through our Month of No Sugar (I am craving Chocolate a lot today).

Linking up with Jeanette today over at Life Rearranged.

Luke’s Easter Basket + Car / Easter Best – H&M pants, shirt, vest, Bowtie by me, Childrens place shoes /We started potty training – the first two days where awful. But once we figure out a timer for every 15-20 minutes it started to click. He can now go a bit longer 20-30 minutes depending on his liquid consumption. I’m hoping he will start telling us he has to go soon

He asked me out of the blue to see himself on the phone camera eating a banana, how could I not oblige / My Husband and I are 5 days into the no sugar and aside from a syrupy sweet glucose test drink this morning we are both cheat free. :) I am getting my sweet fix from lots of fruit and smoothies, I still am really craving chocolate though / This year Luke is bigger and apparently he learned how to climb ladder like things super well

He loves to mow and if I could trust him with a real mower it would be on ;) /He also likes to dig and is better at scooping dirt from one pile to another than he is at scooping food into his mouth ;) / New fabrics I received today from Pink Castle Fabrics sale – LOVE -

A fun and light of pictures week – potty training and no sugar will apparently do that.

Luke loves himself a camera, or anything that remotely resembles a camera really! So I finally put my sketches into a reality last week and whipped up this little snapper.

It is roughly 7″w x 5″t and is made completely of wool felt. All the details are hand stitched, the actual body construction is machine sewn. It was super fun to make, I am a big fan of pick color combinations. :)  I may  put together a pattern for this one! What do you think?

oh and I listed a couple cameras in the shop. ;)

Whelp, there goes that week! ;) I was busy busy. Social Media and blogging took a backseat to life this week. But I think that’s a good thing. I am working on being inspired by my surroundings, my family and friends, and less by the worldwide web. I also have been deep in redoing my husbands home office.

Linking up with Jeanette from liferearranged this week. Make sure to stop by and check out all the fun links.

Bathtime before daddy returned from a looong week away / I hosted 10 tween girls for a birthday painting party, more details next week / Luke being himself

David Office during painting /messy eater! / Lunch with his buddies

my handsome fellows / He was running around in just a diaper after his bath with his guitar so we had to grab a hat and have a mini photo shoot / beans, beans, and more beans. still a favorite

I love this picture! I was working out , first time doing crossfit, and he was playing with his new camera I made him. I had to snap a quick picture. Definitely getting this printed to hang on the wall.

What have you been up to lately? Does Social Media take over your life sometimes like it does me? :) Let me know if your on Instagram. I am always looking for new people to follow.

There’s a teepee in my Living Room! We are having too much fun with it. Luke’s Grandma sent it over for him to enjoy, some of Daddy’s siblings used to play in it.

We set it up last night, with some unnecessary annoyance on my part. :) But I finally figured it out. Then David got inside to show our little Indian the ropes. He rather enjoys playing peekaboo in there. :)

This morning it was the first thing he wanted to do when we got downstairs. After Breakfast he moved right in with his bench. Climbing away.

It is so nice to have a cute tent without making one. It is simple natural canvas and wood poles. I think I need to make him a campfire pillow, maybe a garland, oh and a feather headdress? I may be getting ahead of myself since I know he doesn’t “get” any of this stuff, but it is too much fun! :)
