ETA: SWAP IS NOW CLOSED 10/20/2012 – All partners have been randomly drawn and emails have been sent!
Hey Guys! Do you love scarfs? I do! I thought it would be fun to do a scarf swap! What do you think? Wait… let me tell you the details then you can decide.

Details:

1. You sign up by emailing me woollypetals@gmail.com your info: name, address, email, blog (if you want), and a little blurb about your style.  (i.e. I have a vintage modern style, love The Gap, Anthropologie, Navy, Mustard, sparkles, and infinity scarfs. )

2. I draw all the names randomly to pair you up with the person you will send to. The person you send to will NOT be the same person who sends to you. I will then contact you via email by October  20th, 2012 with your swap partner and their style info.

3. You will select a newly purchased scarf  or  newly/recently handmade scarf based on your partners style info with a value minimum of $10. You will mail this scarf to your partner by October 31st. Please feel free to add any little extras to your package.

4. You will hopefully receive a scarf package and enjoy it! I will host a linky party in November for you to share what your received if you would like to.

Please keep in mind this should be mainly for the giving a personally selected gift to your partner. There is always a chance you will not receive a gift, it has happened to me, so I would like everybody to remember we are doing this in the spirit of giving. I also want to stress to only sign up if you are 100% sure, sans any emergency or unexpected event, that you will send out a scarf package.

Okay I think that is it! What do you think? Would you like to join the swap?

If you think that I am forgetting something PLEASE let me know as this is my first time hosting a swap. :) I will try my hardest to make sure that everyone sends and receives a lovely scarf!

Thanks for stopping by!

We had a nice cool past week, cardigan and scarf weather. But it’s Hot again, and I imagine it will stay that way for a bit. I seriously Can. Not. Wait for fall and cooler temps.

So it started out cool this morning, you know 75 ish. I threw on a fun scarf hoping it would not get hotter. It did. I am trying to step out of my norm a bit with clothes, but it’s not easy. I have to run after and lift a toddler all day long, and let’s be honest I am not super model thin. ;) But hey the scarf with a tank top in the middle of summer. Well that’s new for me.

Once Luke and I got home I found this necklace on my doorstep and put it on immediately since I had shed my scarf by the time it hit 90. Yuck!

Um yes, I LOVE this necklace. It is fun and I don’t feel it’s to fancy for my casual outfit, yet I know it will be awesome dressed up too. Yay for Groopdealz and Lindsay from The Pleated Poppy alerting us on her blog to this deal. I think I need another color, or two. ;)

Outfit Details:

Pants: Target Skinny Boyfriend crops – purchased recently on clearance

Speaking of Lindsay, I am linking up for The Pleated Poppy’s What I Wore Wednesday.
