Currently my craft space is temporary. It is in the smaller bedroom upstairs across from ours, and when we do have a baby it will become the nursery. After that happens, my craft space will be housed in the currently very 70’s basement. The good news is there are plans to fix it up, the bad news who knows if it will happen before we have a child.
Anyway, I want to share little snippets of my space with you each week, probably on Mondays as I usually clean on Saturday or Sunday, until I am able to either show you the whole space in all it’s nooks and cranny’s glory or move to my larger square space in the basement.
So on to the pictures….This is a small bookcase I thrifted several years ago and painted white with a bubblegum pink back. It has been in the Garage for the better part of a year and I finally brought it back inside to add some much need storage. It is currently holding my crafting, scrapbooking, and vintage sewing books along with binders of patterns and a small file box of misc. inspiration and patterns.
This is a cup holder (I think, not really sure ) that I thrifted a couple of months ago. It is finally painted and holding ribbon, not all of my ribbon I might add. I still must figure out how to level the sticks, as one side is higher than the other but for now it works. It is currently hanging from an over the door ironing board hanger because I have no available wall space in my studio and the iron NEVER gets put away. I have way to much fun ironing – NOT-.
Okay the last picture is to show you where someday my craft space will be housed in all it’s wood paneling glory. The paneling will be either painted or covered before I move in.
It is in even worse shape today as I am hoping to have a yard sale in October so currently anything I want to put in the sale ends up down her. Yikes. Okay I hope your Monday is fabulous and we all are super productive this week.
