The gift for August 2010 is a little stuffed monkey for a lovely friend to the nominator, who is in the process of adopting a baby. She is decorating the baby's room in Monkeys.
I am calling him the traveling monkey! Not sure why? It just seems fitting.
He is made from thin corduroy with cotton paisley and wool felt accents.
He has a sweet little alphabet necktie with a vintage clip-on earring that can be taken off so baby doesn't get hurt.
Little things like the x on his tail really speak to me when I am browsing other peoples items, so I try to incorporate those extra details on my creations. I love spending a little extra time to make an item feel that much more special.
