The Delinquent Quilt

· by Kristin

So here are pictures I promised, of the quilt I finished in June. The Beachy Coin Quilt!

Coin Quilts are one of my favorite styles of quilts. They are simple and yet showcase all of the fabrics fabulously.

I originally wanted to make a yellow, gray, and white coin quilt. But gray is not an easy color to track down in the modern fabric world. So that's when I switched to aquas. Boy am I glad I did. :)

I found a set of these aqua dotted sheets and snatched them up. I still have the fitted to use, I think for baby sheets. :) But I love the simplicity of just one fabric on the back, not to mention how much quicker it is. So this is definitely the longest time I have spent making a quilt. I cut it out last year August, and just finished it this June. :)

Thanks for stopping by!
