I made this quilt for my Husbands Sister and her Family this Christmas.
A big zigzag quilt. I saw the big zigzags somewhere in the fall and wanted to make one so bad. Each square is roughly 8″ wide. The quilt itself measures 80″w x 96″t.
This was such a quick quilt to make. I followed the method I learned in the Old Red Barn Co. Quilt Along on Flicker. The zigzag quilt along was round 2.
I did simple quilting, sewing along the outer edges of the patterned zigzags resulting in simple yet striking quilting.
I found most of the fabrics at Joanns, with the exception of two which where in my stash. I used two sheets for the back and the binding. And my usual white fabric, Kona: Snow.
It’s another one that was tough to giveaway because I love it so much. But it’s not really tough because I get so much joy out of people using my quilts and the things I make. :)
Stop back in in the next couple days to see the two quilts I gave away on From:Me To:You in October for it’s 2 year anniversary. They are finally finished, and 1 was delivered in person, while the other is on its way. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
LOVE THIS!!! :)
