A From:Me To:You gift for November!
A framed Joy wall hanging.
I stitched cut out fabric letters to a white fabric background, then I painted a thrifted frame this lovely teal with Martha Stewarts new paint. Her paint is so nice to work with.
I added these fun little flowers that I recently learned to make from this pin on pinterest. They are super addicting to make and very fast. I just love them.
For the patterned one, I first attached fabric to the felt with iron-on fusing. I am not sure which kind I use, but I get it at Joann’s and it is wonderful. But then I just cut out the flower as the tutorial showed. Awesome!… if I do say so myself. ;)
I hope the reciepent like it as much as I do! :)
This would make a simple and easy gift anybody could make since you don’t have to sew anything if you don’t have a machine or can’t hand sew. I would just use the iron on fusing for the letters to if I didn’t sew.
I have some more gift ideas to post this week so stop back again.
Thanks for stopping by!
Love this, very sweet and the fabrics look all year round, not just Christmas! Just found your blog, am really enjoying it. Love the picture of your little guy swaddled propped in the chair!
