Coco the Crab is the next installment of my sea creatures, following the ever popular Sardine Pillow. Rumor has it that a lobster and a shrimp are in the works.
Coco was such a quick pattern to design. After many failed attempts at a couple other creatures, Coco came together so fast I was sure I was going to encounter trouble somewhere in the process. But everything was perfect from the get go. You will have such a fun time selecting fabric, sewing & stuffing, and customizing it. You can add a weighted bean back (recommended) and add stars and shells from the Crustacean Station.

About the Pattern
The pattern includes 10 pages of detailed written instructions with photographs of each step. Pattern pieces for both the 14" Coco and 10" Baby sizes are included in a print-at-home file. Plus a large format printing file is included for the first time in a woollypetals pattern so you can send to a print shop to have all the pattern pieces printed on a single 18" x 24" page.
Both sizes are sewn the same way, though the 10" crab can be a tiny bit more difficult due to smaller pieces - specifically the big claws, and turning and stuffing the legs. But it's 100% doable. Just take it slow. There are tips and insights in the companion video if you get stuck.
Companion Video
A 2.5-hour private companion video walks you through the whole process step by step. The link is included inside the pattern PDF. Watch the whole thing, or use timestamps (provided for each section of the pattern) so you can jump to exactly what part you need.
