Did you know that sea otters hold paws while they sleep so they don't drift apart? That little fact inspired this whole quilt. I designed Don't Let Go as two otters holding hands with a heart between them, and it has become one of my most-loved patterns. There is something about the sweetness of the design that just gets people. It makes a wonderful gift for couples, new parents, or anyone who loves otters.
About the Pattern
The finished quilt measures 54 inches wide by 65 inches tall. The pattern is traditionally pieced, no paper piecing, no tricky techniques, and comes with tons of diagrams to go along with each written instruction. A complete supply list and cutting diagrams start the pattern off, and a printable coloring sheet is included so you can finalize your color selections before you start cutting. You can make the two otters with matching fabrics or give each one its own personality with different belly and body fabrics.
