This bundle gives you the complete Echinacea Field collection, the original quilt block pattern and the expansion pack together. The Echinacea Field Quilt Block is one of my favorite designs. It is a traditionally pieced coneflower with so many customization options built right in: the cone, the petals, the leaf placement, the background, you can make every single block unique. I have seen people use these blocks for mini quilts, table runners, and full quilts, and each one looks completely different depending on the fabric choices.
About the Pattern
The original pattern gives you the 12x18 inch block with petal templates, a full cut list, and detailed sewing instructions with multiple diagrams. The expansion pack adds a larger 24x36 inch block and a smaller 6x9 inch block (both traditionally pieced using the same construction method), plus foundation paper piece templates if you prefer to FPP the original 12x18 inch block. All three additional sizes are sewn exactly like the original, the expansion pack provides the cut lists and templates, and you follow the sewing instructions from the original pattern. Make 20 of the original-size blocks and you have a 60x72 inch quilt.
