I designed this block for all the guinea pig lovers out there. It's All Guinea Be Okay is traditionally pieced with no paper piecing required, and you can customize the fabrics to look like your own guinea pig. There are a lot of pieces and a lot of them are little, but don't let that scare you. With patience and accuracy any sewist can make this block. And once you've made one, you're going to want to make a whole herd.
About the Pattern
The pattern includes fabric amounts, a full cut list, and detailed sewing instructions with diagrams for every step. The finished block measures 15" x 15". The pattern is written for a single block, but it also includes the amount of background fabric needed to make a 9-block lap quilt or a 16-block throw quilt (60" square) with a cohesive background. Skill level is intermediate. The block has lots of small pieces, but the construction is all traditional piecing with HSTs, flying geese, and snowball blocks.
