The StarPetals Mini is one of those patterns I come back to whenever I need a quick, satisfying project. It's an 18" square block that works beautifully as a wall hanging, table topper, or gift, and it's a great way to try out a fun fabric combination without committing to a full quilt.
About the Pattern
The pattern includes fabric requirements, cutting instructions, and step-by-step sewing instructions with graphics. It's traditionally pieced and beginner-friendly. At the end of the pattern there are sections on basic basting and binding, plus a pictorial tutorial for adding corner tabs so you can hang it right on the wall. You could easily sew this into a larger quilt by making multiple blocks, sixteen would give you a 72" square quilt.
