Whoa it’s been awhile and so much has changed since I last popped in here. I hope this finds you all safe and healthy at home if possible.
As promised if you follow me on Instagram I have finished my Giant Bear Paw Quilt Pattern and have named it “Wash Your Paws” to remind us of the times we are living in. I hope you all love and make this pattern and share your process and finished quilts.
I have always loved quilts made from enlarging traditional quilt patterns. I used this technique for the first time on this quilt for a swap I do every time my Quilt’N’Sisters retreat together.
The one I made for that swap is an all scrappy version which you should be able to adapt the pattern to easily. I just kept the fabrics in each color within the same color range so it still has the same look and feel as if used one fabric in each color.
The quilt I made while writing and testing the pattern I used a single fabric for each color. It gives us a good visual of two distinct look with the same quilt. I definitely love them both for different reasons.
The Wash Your Paws Quilt is a very quick pattern to cut and sew, which provides almost instant gratification. I plan to make a few more for gifts for some people who have been on my heart lately and for some charity quilts as well.
You will find this pattern is written in the same format as all my quilt patterns. If you haven’t sewn with one of my patterns before than this is a good introduction to my work. Which brings me to the fact that this pattern is FREE for anyone who wants it. You can click on the link below and it will take you straight to the PDF which you can download and use for your own personal use. I just ask you don’t use this pattern for classes or to sell without written permission from me.

Lastly I would like to just let you know here that all the patterns in my Etsy shop are 50% off for awhile. I wanted to extend a discount since so many of us are stuck at home during our pretty much world quarantine. No code is needed for the discount, the sale price is adjusted in the shop already.
Thanks for stopping by!
