So I am super bad at taking pictures of my outfits. Let’s be honest about it, I pretty much wear shirts with cardigans. ;) But Luke is super fun to dress and I thought I would share his outfit today and link up with One Little Momma.
This little mister cracks me up daily. He is super funny and silly, and loves to laugh and smile.
I was chasing him around before we loaded into the car for these pictures hoping he would stand till long enough to snap a couple. :) These are the few that aren’t just a blur! He is not “posing” at all, just being his silly self.
And there he goes!
Luke is wearing
Sweater: Cardigan from the Gap Outlet on clearance
Shirt: Can’t see, but from the Gap clearance
Jeans: Gap Friends and Family
Vest: Target
Shoes: Converse from Nordtroms
I thought it would be awful to dress a boy since there clothes aren’t as “cute” and there aren’t as many. BUT, I have so much fun with dressing him and think it can almost be more fun than a girl. But we will see when I actually have a girl someday. ;) I try have tried to shop end of season sales the last couple wardrobe size changes since I have to buy a whole new wardrobe when he grows. I rarely buy anything full price except at Target or for shoes. I think it is easy to dress your child up to date and trendy on a tight budget by shopping sales, using store credit cards with discounts, shopping resales ( love), and thrifting. When Buying used I look for gently used items that are classic or that I can alter i.e. make a loose fit pair of jeans skinny.
Thanks for stopping by!
I completely agree with you on everything! I wasn’t sure about dressing a boy because options are more limited, but its still fun. (Also part of why we started our business! :) ) I think he looks so handsome. I love everything from the vest to the cuffed slim leg jeans. Thanks for linking up!
