Hi! I am bringing you the first annual? maybe, woollypetals Sewing Gift Guide 2025!
What is it you ask? Well I wanted to pull together a list of tried and true sewing patterns, and also other crafts, that make lovely and, fingers crossed, quick handmade gifts for us all to be inspired and hopefully make one or two for gifts.
I will definitely have some of my own patterns becuase I love them and think who doesn’t want a Sardine Pillow for Christmas? BUT! lol, I have others patterns as well. Because really it’s about supporting makers, and small businesses, and I love to support other designers.
I will share when I have made the pattern, or when one of you have made the pattern because I asked you all, on Instagram, for reccommendations too.
I try to only use my own pictures or pictures I have asked permission to use. So for anything without a picture below I have links to the pattern. You can also Check out my Pinterest Board HERE to see everything below and more fun patterns I haven’t shared in this post.
Okay let’s get into it!

Pouches and Bags
Petal Pouch Pattern – Pattern by Noodlehead
I love this sweet little pouch by Anna from Noodlehead. It has a curved top which gives it a more unqiue silhouette and the boxed bottom helps the pouch be nice and roomy.
Standing Pencil Pouch – Pattern by Swan Family Patterns
I thought this was such a great pouch for pencils, markers, makeup brushes. The ability to have it stand and access what’s in it instead of digging around in a regular pouch is a neat feature.

A giant Patchwork Tote! Seriously this can hold 3-4 quilts and is the best for carrying big projects, a bunch of projects, or even used as an overnight bag. Add the Zipper Placket using a Tutorial I shared on YouTube.
