I finally finished my string quilt. Yay!
I started this quilt forever ago! I think over two years. As you may remember I finished the top this spring. But I was waiting for my new Machine to quilt it. Although I got my machine in June it has taken me till now to get it finished. You know life and such happens. Plus quilting is intimidating to me because I know it is a big time commitment, which is a bit tough around these parts.
I did a simple straight line zigzag quilt from top to bottom approximately 2″ apart with a few smaller ones thrown in for randomness. The back is a simple yellow and orange vintage floral sheet. I used only scraps for this project, and wow it’s like I didn’t even use any scraps. Oh well, that just means I need to make another right? :)
Have you ever made a string or scrap quilt? I would love to see it.

Your quilt is beautiful. Not sure how I missed seeing it. I don’t see a date on this blog post, when did you post it?? I would love to see some pics of you quilting it in process. Can’t imagine how you manage to quilt it with your machine. Love it!!!!
