Well the last handful of days in Chicagoland has been wonderful. Mid 60’s a brisk breeze. Perfect cardigan and scarf weather. I am sooooo excited because I love fall it is my favorite season (although snow and Christmas together beat it). I just bought a super cute black and white plaid trench from Target and can’t wait to bust it out.
Anyway…..
I downloaded this fabulous craft magazine. And am loving it!

This is a little guy I have been working on lately in my very little spare time. He’s a squirrel, maybe a chipmunk, sans tail currently. I am still trying to figure out a pattern that works without it being super hard to sew. Currently it’s not worth making him in all of his 6″ glory.
But soon I hope to have a few for my up coming craft shows.

This lovely lampshade is one I found while garage saling several weeks ago. I recently was able to pick up the lamp parts and concoct this. So far I am liking it. Eventually the plan is to put in a little girls room with some girly items attached but for now I will satisfy the girl nursery desires by having it in my sewing room as there are no babies on the horizon yet.

Okay so I must start my work so I am off!
