So we started our Basement Renovation this week! I am so excited.

The two pictures above where taken after my Master Renovator (Father-in-Law) started some minor demo to see what we are getting into.

I can not wait to have it done since it means beautiful Drywall walls, lots of light, a bigger and better laid out sewing room, a better flowing layout of the basement, and lots of fun decorating in the end. :)(inspiration for the decorating from House Beautiful)(p.s. this whole house is lovely)

It’s funny how tons of my inspiration photos have wood paneled walls and that is the precise element I cannot wait to get rid of in my basement. More so because they are patched in areas are two different depths and are that hideous red wood color. I am just loving the feel in the photo above and plan on making my sewing room and family room a soft comfortable area like the one above.

I will be back tomorrow and next week with a few projects and such, I think my mojo has returned. :)
