Hold on tight!

Hold on tight!

October marked the two year anniversary of my From:Me To:You Facebook page.  I celebrated by giving away two quilts! Although they are still at the quilters. :)

But for everyone else who nominated and was nominated in October I made a small gift.

So I made 52 Magnetic Photo Frames.

They where pretty simple once I figured out my plan would actually work . The prototype is always tricky. I bought that vinyl by the yard ( you know like grandma covered her sofa in ;) and dug through my scrapping paper. I cut rectangles a touch bigger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ out of both. I then put a vinyl rectangle on top of each paper and sewed around three sides.

I made a bunch of rolled fabric flowers and attached them to each photo holder with one felt and one book page leaf.

And of course I adhered a magnet to the back of each. :) They hold a 4×6 or smaller photo and give your fridge a bit of cuteness. Or in my anti fridge magnet house (husband) ;), my memo board in my craft room. :)

I hope everybody liked them and I would love to see if anybody makes some of these! I’m sorry I don’t have pictures of the in process, I never remember that part.

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Leslie,
Thank you! And oh my, I know this year has flown by! I can’t believe they are 1 today. :) Are you doing anything for Delilah’s birthday? We are taking Luke to a play gym because he loves to run around.

  2. I’ve gotten lots of “thank you’s” from my friends who received a photo frame. I just had to comment and say that my home is an anti fridge magnet house too! (husband too) Somethink about what if the magnet messes up the electronics inside the door….whatever!! :-) Wondering if you have a tutorial on how you made the fabric flower??
