I recent joined the website Raverly.com and I am loving it. Belong to this site has opened doors, to fun and interesting people, new hobbies, great patterns, and fun ideas. One of the ideas that I came up with is knitting bags. Yeah, yeah not really original. But I needed something that is small and will work well for knitting without getting everything tangled up and jumbled together. This happens to me often. The bag above is what I came up with. It is small scale ( it’s holding 4 balls of yarn), has a pocket on the side for hooks and scissors, the top cinches so nothing falls out and it is the perfect hole to have the yarn unwind nicely out of. Plus it’s made from super cute fabric. I think I will be making some to put in the shop soon.
This weekend I went to my parents house to spend some time thrifting with my mom. We went to the coolest shops, Sisters garden and Bloom (unfortunately they don’t have websites) think Anthropologie meets home decor boutique. We also hit up some insanely huge consignment shops.
That knitting bag is so awesome! Makes me wish I could sew…
