I started knitting this hat when I found out I was pregnant, and then with the morning sickness and exhaustion put it down til this past weekend. I finished knitting it in an evening of movie watching with the husband and realized that it will definitely be to big for the baby to wear home from the hospital.

So since there are plenty of little girls in my life I decided to line it with some bubblegum pink jersey and add a BIG jersey flower and yellow button.

I think it will fit 12-24 months so I guess if I don’t have a little girl it will find a home with someone else little one. :)

p.s. I am now waiting for a smaller circular knitting needle to make a hat of the appropriate size. :)
