Sneaky boy!

Sneaky boy!

So I bought a bunch of clothes for Luke before he was born. I started going to kids clothing resales with some friends and of course places like the gap, old navy, etc.. I went a little crazy. :)

(I think he looks like he is getting ready for a jewelry heist or something. :))

Well when I organized his dresser, I apparently made two 0-3 months drawers of clothing, but once he was born I thought I had only made one 0-3 month drawer. So I ignored the second drawer of 0-3 month stuff thinking it was 6+ months until I opened it the other day to put some larger size clothing into. Low and behold it was 0-3 months. :)

So glad I found it as he won’t be in this size for much longer. But it was like a little shopping spree as I had forgotten about all these clothes. :)
Anyway since I shopped at resales I got more clothing pieces than outfits, and some things like these black boots I just bought because they were cute and $1 not because they are practical at all. This outfit happened to be in that forgotten drawer, and the boots and hat are from resales bought just because. :)

So I put him in this outfit (shirt and pants) which is actually from the gap and pretty cute, and while digging around in his drawer for socks, came across these boots and hat. :) I proceeded to add them to the outfit for a laugh and blackmail worthy pictures when he’s older. :)
He didn’t wear his accessories for longer than the photo shoot but these pictures continue to crack me up every time I see them. :)

So I guess the moral of the story is, don’t forget where you organize things, and have fun dressing your kids even if it’s only for some pictures. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Such a cute little jewel thief! I'm glad you found those clothes when you did. My petite Stella isn't big enough for most of her 0-3 stuff yet… I'm hoping my seasons won't be too "off" on all of the clothes I've bought and received… and, p.s… resales ROCK!
