All the Details for the Something Wicked QAL 2020 are below.
The Something Wicked QAL will run from September 26th – October 31st.
If you work at the timeline pace or ahead you can have a fully finished quilt for Halloween. And in my opinion the Halloween quilt are great quilts to cozy up with all the way to Thanksgiving.
I will be sending out a weekly email with all the details for that week and any tips and tricks you need to know to help you that week. It will be fun info each week to help you make the best version of the Something Wicked Quilt to enjoy for years to come.
We have some amazing sponsers joining up and providing prizes, kits, and discounts. Each week there will be a prompt in the email and I will post it on Instagram. If you do the prompt each week you will be entered into that weeks prize. We will start over each week for the giveaways so even if you don’t participate one week you can jump in the next week and still enter to win the current weekly prize. BUT if you enter every week you will be entered to win the Grand prize! I am going to make it a good one.
OUR SPONSORS ARE
Click on any of the logos to check out there sites and all the amazing events and products they have. I will be sharing all the prizes and what I love about each sponsor as the Quilt A Long starts and progresses.
It’s going to be a fun Quilt A long with lots of amazing inspiration! So join in the fun by signing up and then post the graphic below so all your friends can see what your up to and join in the fun. I bet you’ll make some new quilting friends along the way too. p.s. You can find the graphic on my Instagram too.
You are welcome to sew any of the versions in the Expansion Pack during the sew along. I have some examples below.
The Candy Corn version is a fun alternative to the witch hat for Halloween. I have a tester making it in some alternative colors that I will share soon.
The Tree in Snow is a lovely winter themed quilt that can be out for the Christmas Holiday season and extend beyond into the winter. I love seasonal quilts because they are so fun to pull out and brighten up your space.
The Tree with Trunk version is a fun take on a Christmas tree. It would be very fun to add some “hanging ornament” embellishments with quilting or applique. It can also be made as a tree quilt for any tree or nature lovers you know and lots of scrappy nature or fun non holiday prints.
The Santa hat version is so much fun for a Christmas quilt. It sparks of whimsy and magical make believe to me. The background coloring can be modified to match your Christmas color decor.
I really hope you join the Something Wicked QAL 2020 community. It is going to be so much fun to see all the different versions come to life just in time for the holidays.
Don’t forget to SIGN UP to be eligible for prizes. There’s a discount code for my esty shop on the pop up after you sign up as well. Also the Expansion Pack will be releasing September 19th at a crazy low introductory price for the first week, so if you are going to make one of those ever it’s a good time to buy. Remember you also need the full Something Wicked Pattern for the pattern pieces and instructions.
Thanks for stopping by!
